This cat5e cabling kit provides a complete cat5e socket to socket link. It is ideal for home networking, whether you want to connect 2 PCs, or you want to route your broadband to the room with your PC in.

The products we supply in these kits are the same products we sell to professional network installers, so you can be sure you are getting good quality. Long term, it is much more cost effective than wireless, as well as being more stable and secure.

Installation is simple. The cable and the sockets are colour coded, so all you have to do is connect the correct wire to the correct point, using the disposable termination tool provided. A small selection of common DIY tools will also be required to clip the cable and fix the sockets to the wall.

4 x 1/4 blanking plates

2 x surface mount back boxes

2 x single gang (takes 2 modules) faceplates

2 x 2m patch leads (the colour of lead supplied may vary, depending on stock availability)

1x disposable IDC plastic punchdown tool

A small selection of screws and fixings, to attach the completed sockets to the wall
